Is it normal that im in love with my best friend?

To keep it simple, I have been friends with her for years. We both are very alike and people tell us we would make a cute couple . We dated once, but we both weren't ready for a relationship. I've told her that I love her but I don't think she believes me. She's everything I've ever wanted and when I'm not with her its a boring day. Meanwhile, I sit back while she dates other guys who dump her and stuff. Is it normal to be pissed, and still trying to get her?

    well... you might have to just accept that you'll always be just friends or do something romantic and spontaneous to try and win her over. there isn't much you can do in your situation but there what i've got. i hope this helps.

    Umm, normal.
    I agree with kit291, you might have to do something romantic to win her, something different, trust me I was in the same situation and I gotta say it did work, intimate time with her I guess would throttle you away from that friend zone.

    Its a tough one, it seems a lot of times, even if it seems that you would make a great couple, she keeps you in the friends zone. I think it has to do with that she knows you too well. Believe me, I tried that with several of my lady friends, but it was just that, "Lets stay friends". damn.:(
