Is it normal that im confused about my sexuality?

Im a teenager and i don't know what i feel. Is it just because i need more experience?
I instinctly thought i was straight until a while back when i started fancying my friend. At first it was denial but i cant stop thinking about her. And im worried what people would think if i was a lesbian.. does that make me straight??
