im scared of them too, scared i might see something in the mirror thats not there
like a reflection of a ghost or something...
I tend to avoid mirrors normally but I cant physically touch them, I cringe even thinking about it. Mirrors just make me feel unsafe.
I think so, sometimes you may see things while your mind is playing tricks on you. Plus, it's a common phobia called "Catoptrophobia." It doesn't always mean you're self-conscious, though a possibility.
But there are plenty of scenes in horror movies that can stimulate the reasons people fear them. For instance, the special on CW's "Supernatural" showed 'Bloody Mary', or the movie "Mirrors".
-I'd say Normal =D
CANDY MAN CANDY MAN CANDY MAN say that three times in the mirror and he'll appear with his hook hand and rip your guts out
Don't worry mirrors don't show perfect reflection of yourself you only look scary when your face is shown reversed Hahahaha joke
I saw this tv show a while back about mirrors being a port hole to other planes....and some people were talking about weird creatures they could see in the mirror at night (like an evil little girl with razor blades for fingers) anyways It was kinda creepy they also said 2 mirrors back to back can create a port hole to these parrallel worlds it was pretty creepy and even though I didn't believe any of it I'm still a little freaked out when I brush my teeth in front of the mirror at night
I only get scared when I get out of bed in the middle of the night and I see my own reflection in the mirror I have next to the bed and I think that there is someone standing right there staring at me. I never think to turn it around though.
Watched a show on bloody Mary, couldn't look in a reflective object for a week . But, you get over it . Just walk by them , ignore them. They can hardly hurt you
Omg. Same here! And then that movie Mirrors came out and made it so much worst! :( :(
fairly common phobia... kiefer sutherland suffers from it. just like most phobias you can cure yourself of it with positive thinking, maybe self hypnosis.
You're terrified of yourself not mirrors. Any reason to really hate yourself.
mirrors! mirrors!!... MIRRORS!!! WTF!
Phobia for the ugly. not normal.
