I read way to many articles on aliens and had to sleep in my best friends room for a month because I was too scared to sleep on my own.

The probability of sentient life elsewhere in the universe is highly likely. However, it's not very likely that human beings will ever come in contact with them.
It's an irrational fear.

The existence of aliens is extemely probable. Pretty much every scientist out there will tell you that we are going to come into contact with alien life some point soon. I wouldn't be scared, though. They are propably like humans, some friendly and some not. I think everyone is a little afraid of things in questions. Very normal :)

Why are they scary? They're just little green men, I'd probably shoot them in the face. Now if aliens looked anything like say...transformers. Yeah I'd pee my pants.

It's normal. The unknown can be a scary thing. However, I think it would be cool to meet some aliens and communicate in whatever way we could. In theory, that sounds exciting and fun but I wonder if I would be scared if it really happened. Who knows?
