You're normal. I used to do this with a Sonic doll. If it bothers you that much, maybe switch to cuddling with a pillow at night.

It's not normal for a boy over the age of 12 to sleep with a stuffed animal. It's weird. Lose it or you will soon find yourself a 24 year old virgin sleeping with a stuffed animal. PLUS college will be hell for you if you bring a stuffed animal.
