Is it normal that i wrote my name backwards until the second grade?

I was "taught" how to write my name in kindergarden. Every time I tried to write my name I would write it backwards. My teacher would correct me every day by making me write my name correctly ten times, I clearly remember thinking the teacher was wrong and writing my name correctly frustrated me. I really thought writing my name backwards was the correct way to write it. Every day I would forget how to write my name and started off the next day writing my name backwards again, this went on until the second grade.. is it normal?

i was thinking dyslexia as well, but since it went away in the second grade, that doesnt seem to cover it. Most dyslexics struggle with it their whole life. My dad will sometimes write numbers backwards. (103 would be 301). of course, he usually catches himself and corrects it.

Perhaps, you had a form of dyslexia?

Huh..... I have never heard if that before unless you have dyslexia which can produce that.

    Just pulling your tail :)
It's probably not normal, but because you were so young, you probably didn't know any better. I don't know what to think.
