Is it normal that i write poetry even though i hate poetry

I dont like reading poetry or writing it for the most part. And I'm not gay if your wondering I love this girl and she loves me but were not together. She knows how to bring my feelings out even though I'm generally tough and popular but after I talk or text her I just get inspired to write poetry on how I feel

Any advice on how I can get her

    Idk why I write them and when I'm in the state that I get in I just feel like writing and I think I might do that for her

    If you don't like it, don't do it. Or..write her a poem and give it to her.

    This remind me of someone I know. I listen to, sadly, Demi Lovato and I really don't like her music but I can relate to some of her lyrics. So I guess I can kind of relate.
