    Yep. Plenty of people prefer written erotica to visual porn. Not only is it normal, but it suggests you have a great imagination.

    I am completely the same. Unless the porn is very, very specific to my fetishes I would normally prefer to read it.

    I've heard it's mostly women who get this though.

    The answer really depends on if you are male or female.

    Sexual cues that stimulate arousal in males are different than those that stimulate females. These are well understood, although there are always a few exceptions.

    To the duche who said its ai'ght for a girl but not for a guy i totally disagree and reading it is better cos you can edit it and change the characters and what they look like and stuff and helps you with your imagination which a lot of people in todays society lack and no i'm not a 100 i am XIV (Roman numerals)

    Your mind is a much better projector than a crummy digital camera that some gross people just messed around in front of. Porn today sucks, there's no 'foreplay'... well what I mean is older porn has some story to it and the 'actors' were actually convincing so it kind of took you in. It was like the sex was incidental but you still got a good movie out of it.
    I find porn now doesn't do that, but literature does!
