Is it normal that i would like to be a man ?

Sometimes, I would like to be a man. It would be great not to have my periods, but especially not being judged or called a whore because I'm just talking with several guys or because I can easily discuss about sex just like men or being criticized or insulted because I'm wearing sexy clothes. Women are way more severely judged than their male counterparts. Men can be real jerks and still being respected and loved. For example, a single girl may kiss several boys at a party and being called a slut. A guy may have sex and chat up with several girls, it will be considered as " hot " and " nice " most of the time.

But when something tarnish the reputation of a girl, even only one tiny mistake, there's nothing she can do about it. She will be endlessly considered as a promiscuous girl or things like that. Men can do ten times worse, they will be more easily forgiven. That's why I'm saying It sucks to be a woman. Sometimes I tell myself It would be great to be a man just because things seems to be so much more fun and easier.

Is that normal to feel that way and experience that injustice ?

Why I hate to be a dude in just one word: competition

      What do you mean?

That we dudes always have to out-compete each other in everything. Bigger dick, better car, less scared, running faster, you're a sissy if you don't do this or that etc. I envy how girls kiss each other and what not. Like the 80s song girls just want to have fun (and they do)

Yeah I guess I see what you mean. But you know I'm pretty sure girls have it the same way. You know how American society is with beauty, girls have to look pretty all the time and some girls are just down right gorgeous while some not so much. So i think there is competition among girls as well, it's just over stuff they can't control like their chest size or how flawless their skin is.

I am the one who wrote this story and yes, there is also competition with girls. It's even worse. We hate each other for having nicer clothes, pretty makeup, more beautiful long hair, skinnier " etc. But girls are worst than men in general. While most of guys are franks, girls are meaner and don't hesitate to stab another girl in the back. Girls are really judgemental instead of unite when things go wrong. They often prefer confrontation making a fuss of EVERYTHING. That's another big reason why I sometimes would like to be man. You are often franker than girls and deal problems face to face once for all instead of fueling resentful for ages.
Otherwise, I'm French and in my country, this is the same thing as yours in American society. Competition is everywhere no matter where you are in the world.

That sounds terrible, I've heard of how backstabbing women can be, and that sounds difficult. The worst I've heard is guys just having a fist fight over a girl, but that really only applies when there are two guys who like the same girl. It's weird though cause I always had this view of France as being a nice place to live in, yes I'm very ignorant.

I know that this may sound, messed up, but I thought that in France they were very liberal about sex. Does being a slut really exist over there? I thought that was purely an American thing. I figured sex was just a casual thing over there that everyone had and didn't look down on others for having it.

I agree with you in that there are problems with being a girl, as there are for being a guy. There is plenty of injustice in the world, I understand where you're coming from. Personally I want to try being a girl for a month just so I could experience the injustice and also want to know how the world looks. However, there are also things that men go through similar to woman, we don't get called sluts we called perverts. And aside from rape, the law is usually on the woman's side, especially in divorce cases. I'm not going to list all the problems men go through, because honestly, I think woman have more to say, but I just want to point out that there is social injustice towards men as well. Anyways, I think you're normal to want this, and I'm sorry that you've experienced such close minded people.

But as a man, you constantly feel pressure to be better. i know personally knowing someone out there is better than me kills me.

I feel tempted to list things man have to deal with, but I won't.

I will however suggest that you change your social evironement. Honsestly, I can't imagine any of my few friends calling a woman a slut, or thinking highly of a man because he's getting so many differnt girls.

Your real problem seems to be that you're surrounded by shitty, shallow, judgemental people.

Honestly? You want the most realistic answer? The biggest threat for the 21st Centuary will be that half of the West will be an Islamic State, inflicted Sharia Law in most countries, including England, maybe even America. This is what we have to be careful of and look out for.

I'm one of those people who can give you a bad taste in your mouth by walking into a room. You know what that is? Me sucking out a little piece of your soul every time I inhale.

How to fail the Man Test.

If you say you're sick or complain about pain, you fail.

Whilst you feel the same gamut of emotions as women, if you publicly display any that aren't joy or anger, you fail.

If you don't like football or any other "manly" sport, you fail.

If you ask for directions, or are seen reading instructions, you fail.

If you don't drink beer you fail (concessions are made if you're a religious fanatic with a beard).

If you express a political view that is not sexist, racist or bigoted, you fail.

If you cry publicly, you fail (and should just kill yourself afterwards).

Take all of that, then add to it the burden of honor and responsibility which we are expected to uphold from birth to grave.

I think if you fall in love you will touch it clearly that women and men are all the same and have the same rights, if a man betrays it depends to his partner's feeling to forgive him or not to forgive, sleaping with many defferent people brings the risk of AIDS, being mean to yourself doesn't need to be woman or man, whatever you are don't betray yourself and your nature, you have a great chance to be a beautiful angel as a woman, so be it forget about loving the dirty way we ( men ) act
