Is it normal that i worry about things that will never happen??

I might have generalized anxiety disorder. I worry about every little thing. It ranges from tests to health. When I'm put as the center of attention I start to shake all over have shortness of breath and my hand shakes to the point that if I was holding a glass of water it would spill. It scares me. I have frequent anxiety attacks and I feel like everything is closing in. Is this normal for a teenage girl?

    It's normal because you're young.

Oo I was a little like that in high school. I remember I used to do so well with presentation's, and really anything infront of an audience. I even used to sing and dance, and do reading's at my church in front of crowd's of people. Then I remember one day, I started to change. Around my sophmore year of HS, I got really shy infront of people. I became more self conscious, and nervous about thing's that I would get anxiety too. My hand's used to shake just like yours, and even now they still do sometime's. I remember I would feel like I could hardly breathe, and my heart would race. I somehow got over my anxiety. I mean, I definietly don't get it as bad as I did before. You might grow out of it too, but for now, you should probably speak to a counselor. I don't think it's normal.

It is normal if you do have GAD. Generalized Anxiety Disorder. I have it and I experience the same thing. You worry about everything. Quite dabilitating isn't it..? :/ Hang in there and tell someone if yoy don't have a psychiatrist. If you do, let them know your symptoms and your suspicion of having GAD.
