Is it normal that i worry about only having sons?

My husband and I will be trying for kids soon, and the closer we get the more anxious I am that I will not have any daughters. Both our families have lots of boys, and some of my aunts have only boys, and I know they are saddened by this. Is it normal for me to think about this so much when I'm not even pregnant yet?

Well, this might make you happy. Supposedly, the why chromosome is shrinking (this is just what I heard, so if I am incorrect don't argue with me about it, argue with the documentary I was watching) and therefore, more females are being born than males.

I personally would prefer to have boys over girls, but if you want a girl, I've read some articles (I don't know if they're legit) on how to have a girl.

I think so. Although I haven't found the person I should marry (or have found her and rejected her), I would feel that I would keep on having kids until I had at least one daughter. Being a dad to a daughter seems like a different thing than being a dad to a son, and I'd like to have both.
