Is it normal that i wont come out of my room if my mom's on the phone

I am 21, i live with my mom still because we both cant afford living by ourselves

this is weird but if the phone rings and mom answers, i go and hide in my bedroom til shes off the phone again. today my dad has phoned every 3 minutes for the past hour and i'm actually starting to get very... pissed off

is this normal?

    Sounds like a Get over it kinda thing. You hide? Seriously? What if someone comes to the door do you jump out a window? Maybe a life off the grid is what your looking for... no phone no electricity no internet nothing to make you very... pissed off.
