Is it normal that i wish we would make civilizations up in the sky?

I know it's not possible but I would LOVE it if instead of colonizing space, we could make homes, schools, shops, gardens and every else we need up in the sky; including way up into the stratosphere. This Minecraft mod called Stratosphere Survival gave me this idea. To make it a reality we'd first have to built a anti-gravity airbound device that can stay in the air for an indefinate time. Then we'd have to make artificial land ontop of that and continue from there.

    Yes, let's do it. But the problem is, who gets to go an live up in the floating palaces? I'm guessing not the people who built them.

    There's this game called "Bioshock Infinite" where the setting is exactly this. If you want to see a city in the sky, then I recommend it.

      damn beat me to it haha. I spent so much time in the beginning of that game just walking around looking at everything. listening to the gayest quartet in columbia. such a great place to be.........apart from all the racist agendas

        Dude that quartet was awesome and you know it. I did the same thing, look around and explore. Like I loved hearing people converse. It made the world come alive. It sucks that most of the game was indoors.
