Is it normal that i wish to be pregnant this badly?

Ever since I was a child, I have loved the idea of having a baby. I am still a virgin, but recently have been quite enthusiastic about pregnancy, and even dreamt up my pregnancy a few times.
Recently, my 16-year-old friend has lost her virginity and found out she was pregnant. I was very envious of her at the time, but that's eased off since she miscarried in her third month. But still, I'm envious that she's at least had the feeling of a baby growing in her. A lot of times I've contemplated going out just to lose my virginity and risk the chance of getting pregnant.

Is this normal...?

    Well, the desire to be pregnant is normal and healthy. The urges to go out and "do it" just for that reason, however, are not safe. Find a good guy, marry young, but don't do anything stupid!

    i'd suggest not to get pregnant so early in your age. only if your ready and have the support then go for it. i mean get the virginity out of the way for sure and then think careful about your future with a baby if you have one this early.

    Hi there

    I probably sound like a tired, frustrated old bag, but - you're too young to have kids! Far too young!
    I had my twin boys when I was 18, and it's unbelievably tough! Although I had my husband to care for and support me, financially and emotionally, it makes it only a fraction easier, really. I don't regret having my children even for a moment, but that doesn't make me want to promote teen pregnancy.

    Agree, it's normal. I'm 22 and have wanted a baby since I was a teen. I won't be financially able to care for any for a few more years at least, but mainly on my period, I get the urge to have sex and reproduce very badly. Just resist the urges until you are ready.

    It would be a terrible feeling to have the baby but not be able to care for it.
