Is it normal that i wish severus snape was here?

I wish that he was here because I see him as a father and I want him to be here with me so we can be a family. I love him very much and he means alot to me since my birthfather did nothing for me except made my mom concieve me while Severus was there for me in my dreams and provided me comfort when I was alone. He showed me that even though you're physically alone, you're never truly alone because someone will always be there with you spiritually. Severus taught me that DNA doesn't matter concerning parents and children and you don't neccesarily need a devoted birthmother or birthfather to have a real mom or dad. Because of this, I was thinking when I'm older, I can adopt as well and provide a child with a parent just as my adoptive father did for me and I can teach the same lesson to my future adopted son or daughter and hopefully the lesson will continue for generations to come (granted my child wants a family).

I know you. You blocked me because I did not answer to your message as quickly as you desired. Then you created another account. I think that you should get out of this little world that you have created and try to talk about all your doubts and your fears with an adult. You'll do yourself more harm than good if you continue living in this fantasy world.

If this isn't a troll then your Snape fantasies are getting way out of hand.

I think I know who this is... I'll have you know that there's a magical substance called, "therapy". You go in this quaint little room that could resemble anything from a cottage in England to a dungeon in France and there you'll meet a witch/wizard who will listen to all of your problems and try to help you find solution for them.

Seriously, I highly suggest that you consider this.

    I'm tearing up here.

I'm 30 y/o. Like Squirrel Girl, depending on my interests/music tastes at the time I've viewed various musicians & sometimes characters, as partners, loving them so much I ended up almost making them deities, saying their name 3 times to make them come/go, talking differently sometimes, etc. I think creative people do this.

Family/friends know about this & would notice when/if anything went wrong. I know it's silly, but it cheers me up, inspires me, stops me being bored & means I can be happy pottering about [get it?!] w/ or w/o company.

I once made up a song for one of my imaginary partners; I wrote a story about another, changing his name. Said song was supposed to be a joke, but loads of people took it seriously. It's really embarrassing now.

Thoughts of him – the one I wrote the song for – helped me through the worst fortnight of my life; he visited me in a dream, helping me make choices that would affect the rest of my life. Luckily I made the right one, & whenever I doubt this his words run through my mind. I now look back on said dream as his warning. Good job the people who created him – & sadly ended his life as well – made him sensible.

As for Snape being your father figure, people call God their Father; he also visits via dreams; he too can neither be interacted w/ properly or seen; that's fine, but what you believe isn't ?? I don't get it.

I understand how you feel. I view Alexander from Amnesia: The Dark Descent and Maxwell from Don't Starve as the grandfathers I never had. Both of my real grandfathers were huge jerks who emotionally abused my parents and never wanted anything to do with our family. Alexander and Maxwell are awesome because they have supernatural powers and sympathetic backstories. Not to mention the fact that in my imagination they are always there for me and watch over me like guardian angels (more like fallen angels given the things they did in their games, but you get the idea). Most people will probably think I'm either trolling or really pathetic and need to get a life, but I don't care. I will always love my imaginary badass grandpas.
