I'm a huge fan of Godzilla. I've been a fan since I was a kid. I own all 28 Godzilla movies in their original Japanese versions. Growing up, I was always picked on as a kid. Most kids who were bullied turned to superheroes wishing they were like Batman or Superman and beat their bullies up. But with me I always turned to Godzilla and wished I was 50 meters tall so I could simply crush my bullies or burn them alive with a thermonuclear heat beam.

    Out of curiosity, in the olden days of the Internet, did you ever visit Barry's Temple of Godzilla? My brother used to be a Godzilla fan too, and he was on that website all the time. For some reason he really liked the sound clips.

    Also, did you ever play that one Godzilla game for the SNES? I remember my dad and brother playing it.

      Yes I used to visit Barry's Temple of Godzilla. There was also another Godzilla site called Gojistomp. Not sure if you ever heard of that.

      I never had an SNES, however, there was a Godzilla game I played for the original NES. It was called Godzilla: Monster of Monsters. I loved that game. I've also played Godzilla: Destroy All Monster Melee, Godzilla: Save The Earth, and Godzilla Unleashed.

    Well its probably normal but not exactly a good thing to do if you're wishing harm on people, in a completely crazy and unrealistic way or not. You've been a fan since you were a kid so there's your answer. Its normal. Batman and Superman are more popular for kids to look up to but nothing wrong with wanting to be Godzilla. I wanted to be Yoda, but not really because I wanted to hurt anyone, just because he was cool with all this wisdom while I was just a little naive kid. I understand bullies are the total opposite of cool though. But you will feel better if you're somehow able to let go of all that.

    I think its normal as long as its just something you wish and realize it will never happen. When I was in elementary school I had a shirt with a pink, glittery Chinese style dragon. I loved it. I would daydream that I could turn into that pink glitter dragon on command and just fly around with the ability to shoot fire out of me like a dragon. Sometimes I would fantasize that I was hurting (I don't know if it was actually killing or just hurting, I'll go with hurting)some female classmate in my dragon form.

      Yes and no. I'm excited at that fact that it's Godzilla. But look who's making it. It's Hollywood. Hollywood doesn't have any original ideas so all they do now is make sequels and remakes/reboots and completely butcher them. Hollywood had their chance at Godzilla and completely screwed it up back in 1998 and now they're gonna get another shot. Now if it was Toho Co., LTD making the new Godzilla movie, then I would be extremely excited. After the 1998 disaster, I never wanted Hollywood touching Godzilla again. But sadly they did and theres really nothing I can do. As much as I don't want Hollywood touching Godzilla, I'm still gonna go see the movie and give it a chance. I'm really hoping Hollywood gets it right this time, but I highly doubt it.

        So how do you want Godzilla to be? A man in a costume walking between miniature buildings? Is that original to you? Come on now! We're in 2014. We need better special effects than that! The japanese movies were laughable.

          Yes, I want Godzilla to be a stuntman in a rubber suit. That's what made the Japanese movies so awesome. For you to say it was laughable only makes you sound ignorant and closed minded. All this CGI crap in movie is getting so ridiculous anyway.
