Is it normal that i will use food to help clean my body?

Yes, I said it. Before u get all worked up, I have an explanation. There are beauty tips and recipes on Pinterest that I use. But does this creep any of you guys out that I will but oatmeal on my face or oil in my hair? Coffee grinds as a scrub on my body? Or does this just sound like something I enjoy, natural beauty products? Give me some feedback please:)

Many of the best cleansing agents contain things that have once been alive. The things that are alive and that we like to eat, we call food. How something tastes is a terrible distinction to make when imagining its cleansing properties, though. It makes as much sense to me to use food as a cleanser as to use other living matter that we don't traditionally eat.

Totally normal because most products contain the same ingredients.

I agree with the person above. Lush is a really good shop. www.lush.co.uk its amazing! They don't test on animals either so thats pretty awesome. They use all fresh ingredients aswel. Their products are amazing.

It's normal. I use French's mustard to clean myself in the shower.

Why can't you just be satisfied with soap!?

It doesn't creep me out, it's just...
    ...odd.

I suppose it's fine to try out unusual things - as long as they're natural and you're not using chemicals or something hazardous.

I should also advise you that not all information found on the internet is accurate and true.
Do a bit research first; at the very least you can save yourself some money.

Certainly, I usually wash my hair with honey and put olive oil on it as it dries. Most things especially, if they are natural products, will have ingredients that were once alive.

No, not really. I think after awhile the hair "sucks" up the oil. It's definitely better than having to have a dry scalp.

You can oil your face like a elegant woman would powder her face with a pad.

        ;)
