I wear one pair of jeans for about a week before washing them. I don't see any point in washing them more often than that.

Makes sense. As long as they don't smell. I didn't realize this for the longest time, but there's no use in wearing them once and throwing them into the washer, that's just a waste, especially in the wintertime.

You must then bathe them in the sap of a salamander tree while standing on one foot singing yankee doodle.

I think that only wearing your jeans then washing them ruins them. And unless you are sweating or are extremely gross they probably won't be dirty.

If you follow the instructions provided by Levi's when you buy their jeans it actually warns against washing your jeans too often.
