It is toally normal to consume surplus food/drink when under emotional stress.
Omg...I do that too, I've always done that but I havent really thought about it before now...But when I'm really deppressed I nearly quit eating and just drink water..dunno why.
It sounds much better than eating your feelings! But don't drink too much as it may dilute your blood, but for that you need to drink a huge amount which I hope you don't :)
Well, Drinking a lot of water does make your bloodstream hypotonic, which causes the kidneys to work faster, thus excreting various toxins faster. Maybe your body is telling you to switch to a healthier diet.
