So that America can reassert itself as a dominant world power and show that independent countries (Ukraine) are to be left as is.

    Absolutely not! I am sick and tired of my country thinking it has the right to stick its in the affairs of other countries. We should only intervene if another country asks for our help and we are their ally. America needs to focus more it's own problems. We are still in another war that has yet to have been resolved and we are spending money that we really don't have on it. There are other ways for America to return to its former "glory". This, however, is certainly not a way to achieve this.

    Yeah that's just what the military needs right now. They haven't been working enough in the last 13 years.

          I caught it immediately, what I meant is that's never been an excuse for the US. At war for 13 years ? That's just the warm up

            But the current line up is all volunteer. They don't draft more people. So it it the same guys and gals going over and over again. Like my neighbor who is in the "reserve" who just left his family for his 4th tour of duty.
