Is it normal that i want to wear a cowboy hat?

First post on this site so I hope I'm doin it right. Here's my problem: I'm a guy from Connecticut, but am now a freshman in college in Tennessee. I've always been a huge southern rock fan, Skynyrd being my favorite, and I enjoy many "southern" things (fishing, NASCAR, hunting, etc.), and I want to try to pull off a cowboy hat. I guess my question would be would people think that's weird, or would it fit in around here? I know people say "be yourself", but I don't wanna look like a clown out there...

    I live in PA, and am the same way. Me and all my friends shoot guns, but I'm the one who hunts and fishes the most. People around where I live are not like me at all. But you're in Tennessee, so you'd be fine wearing a cowboy hat!

    Great idea, if you go to get one get two and sell me it on ebay and post it to the UK.

    My Dad was working in Texas and told me they were a much to expensive gift. He always tells me things cost to much though.

    Cowboy hats are the bomb anywhere!

    Cowboy hats are sick, I would wear one I'm in Rhode Island and I dont care.
