Some of my girl - friends already have, and they tell me its painful and not very pleasant, but i still want to try. I am a 17 years old girl and even if i think of trying it and being in pain it turns me on. What should i do?
If you haven't already, try using your fingers or a sex toy in there to see if you like the sensation and let you know what to expect when you try it for real.
Google how to do it safely. You should use a condom, because STDs are easily transmitted through anal sex. Use a lot of lube and go more slowly at first than you would during vaginal sex, because an anus is less stretchy than a vagina is. You should tell all this safety information to your sex partner before you try anal sex.
Then find a sex partner to try it with, preferably someone you know you can trust to listen to your safety briefing :P If you live in a place where 18 is the legal age of consent, you might want to wait until you're 18 just to be on the safe side (or you might not want to wait, the choice is yours).

if done right, it shouldnt hurt, it should feel quite pleasurable. ( or just not painful)
if its real painful, then something is wrong. i know its been said before, but remember these rules:
practice with fingers and toys, before you try the real thing.
relax and go slow, and lastly, plenty of lube. a condom is recommended, but not necessary. if without a condom, i rinsing the anus before at least.
also, (gross but needs to be said) don't go there if you have diarrhea.
At your age it may be a little more difficult to find a guy with enough self-control and experience to make you comfortable. It doesn't hurt if they're doing it right- unless you want it to.
