Is it normal that i want to throw a chair at someone?

For a long time now I've been wanting to take a stool and hurl it at a co-worker. Now, I don't have anything against chairs, my job, or any of my co-workers. I admit being a janitor has its cons, but still. Whenever I move a chair to vacuum, I always feel like I should hurl it and knock someone down. I'm not stressed. I don't have anger issues. In fact, I'm a fairly ordinary lady.
Is this normal?

Chair throwing is fun but they are big and slow giving your target ample time to out manoover the thrown chair.

I hate the spelling for manoeuver its so weird manoeuvre manoeuvremanoeuvre manoeuvre manoeuvre manoeuvre manoeuvre i loike to spell it like manoover like hoover oh yes hoovers are full of win.

Stick that up your vacuum cleaner and smoke it.

I see you start your drinking a bit early....
You don't want to be around when I start throwing things.

Throw the fucking chair.. Get it out of your system. If you need to throw another chair, throw another. Just don't let it get out of control. If you need to, we can start a chair throwing hotline... 1-800-ITHROWCHAIRS..
'Ever feel like no one cares? Throw a few chairs.' That could be the slogan. We could even start a chair throwing chairity!

I did once kick a Rolls Royce in the centre of London. The swine nearly ran me over at the traffic lights (they were red) and I kicked his car. He stopped, took off his top hat and said to me 'What sort of a creature are YOU?'. I said 'You nearly killed me. My life is more important than your car.' He said 'No it damn well isn't!'
I wish I'd had a chair and hit the ruddy car with that.

Something similar happened to me. I was walking thru the parking lot of a Chase bank when out of nowhere this lady nearly ran me down with her Honda. My initial reaction was to hit her car with my closed fist. I know I left a dent. That bitch never stopped, too bad cause I would have verbally beat her down.

It's easier to throw a nice thick , heavy book.

  • There is something very violent that's native to man's character.

    I'll call it normal.

I've actually thrown a chair at someone. But that's only because they were repeatedly whacking me on the head with a saucepan among other things, it bloody hurt! I'm honestly not even a violent person either, unless majorly provoked, ha. That's the most violent thing I've ever done to somebody I think, and it didn't really help anything. I'm sure your co worker doesn't deserve it, especially if they haven't provoked you. I think it's normal to get the thought, but don't actually do it.

Try the wall. Throw a chair at the wall and see how it feels. But if you really want to knock a person down, you may be in denial of some issues.
