Is it normal that i want to take a sandpaper to my face ?

I have had spots for over 5 years now and most of them go when i use those creams and shit but there are these two bundles of them. By bundle's i mean like 5 spots close by.
One of them is on the left side of my jaw and the other on the left cheek.
So should I try and sand them off ?

  • Well to be honest it worked for me. But sandpaper wont work for all people. Sometimes you have to resort to burning them off with carborane super acid (none of that weak sulfuric or hydrocholric acid for us).

Those spots wont know what hit them.

Sand paper will get rid of the problem, along with your skin. Invest in some kind of skin brightening regimen. I use Dermalogica Chromawhite and it got rid of spots in a couple months. Vitamin E works wonders to but you have to stick to it, even when the blemishes are gone. If you're not a sunscreen user, start now. Not some wimpy 15 spf either. I use Neutrogena SPF 85. Sunscreen is key!

I agree with Anime7. Your blemishes don't make you ugly, though it's normal to hate them. When I first got pimples, my family got me proactive and medicated wipes. I didn't like it and how they were reacting to a normal body process. They occasionally give me problems with this, but I've learned to ignore them. I don't think sandpapering them away would be a hood idea:(

Instead trying to erase the blemishes I think that you should just learn to accept them and not care. My mom is always hassling me about my pimples saying "they make you look ugly" but in all honesty I don't really care. You shouldn't either.
