Is it normal that i want to suck some blood out of my body to relieve pain?

I have been obsessed with watching blood-letting videos on youtube some time now and it's beginning to make me think that I want to do the same thing to relieve any back-pain or shoulder pain that i have. Some times when i accidentally cut myself, it seems to feel good and it's like i'm a feather on air.

Is this normal?

Except in rare medical conditions, blood-letting has no therapeutic value. Historically, the practice was based on a completely wrong theory of physiology ("the four humors").

Hurting yourself releases endorphines, which are natural opiates. These give you a sort of "rush" similar to what you get when taking opiate medication.

If you have chronic pain, you need to see a doctor. As you probably know, you should be very wary of opiates such as oxycodone, since they can be habit-forming even at low doses.

No, it's not normal. If you have pains, then take medication or see a doctor.

Hey, if you want to relieve your pain, just have your doctor prescribe you some oxycodone or methadone. That'll help relieve your pain better than sucking your blood, it'll make ya feel better too.
