Is it normal that i want to stay around my teacher?

I am a senior and its time for me to think about college. I have recently been wanting to go a specific college in the state I live because of two reasons; 1 because they have a great nursing program and 2 because my teacher at my school went there and works part time there. I have a HUGE thing for my teacher. He knows i want to go there too, and has offered to help get me accepted. What he doesn't know is i want to go there because of him. Is it weird I am going there mostly because my teacher who I have a thing for works there and I want to be around him?

    As long as you're not like, twenty and he's sixty. Also, if he's married, try to move on. You might regret the decision to stay with him.

    That's maybe a little weird but not so much. Are you expecting or hoping for anything to actually happen between you? Because if so that puts things on a different level of strangeness

    That's a horrible reason to make a life altering decision. Your teacher probably has his own life and, let me guess, marriage; what you have is an infatuation.

    Leave him alone...and start doing some serious thinking about what you want out of life. This decision will effect you for years longer than some teenage crush.
