Is it normal that i want to play poker full time?

I play a lot of poker, and believe with the right discipline, I can earn some steady income. I play so much that I sometimes wonder whether or not it is just a waste of time that distracts me from the real world, or whether or not I should take it more seriously.
I guess I just need to make a decision and stick to it.
Dedicate myself to it or leave it.
