Is it normal that i want to lie about this?

Ok well, my sister is 13 1/2 and wanted to know if its normal that she wants to lie to our parents about a first kiss. Shes never had it, but feels socially rejected my it. So What she wants to do is tell people yes shes had her first kiss, and if the subject comes up with out parents, just say she had forgotten about it. I seriously jave no idea what to respond to ot.

I guess that's common in the hideous world we live in today, but it's not normal. Don't let her do that, try to make her understand that there's nothing wrong with not having had her first kiss, or talk to your parents so they can tell her that it's okay not to be an oversexed whore like her friends who reject her.

I actually like the feeling of being all innocent with the fact that I've never done anything with a girl. So I just tell people how much of a virgin I am with pride when ever they ask me :P

Awe. No need to lie about such a thing. Everyone goes at their own pace and you don't need to rush into such a thing. No lie =]

Wait...The title says YOU want to lie, but the story says your SISTER?

Anyway, yeah it's normal. Teens lie all the time about what they've done with the opposite sex to appear cooler or more normal than they think they are. And then grow up, look back and feel embarrassed they placed so much importance on such a trivial thing.

I'm surprised with kids these days that she feels rejected for not being kissed yet. I hear of 14 year old girls feeling rejected for not having sex yet.

Why does your title contradict your story? In this day and age, young people are often rushed into things they aren't ready for. Then, their peers further worsen things by labelling them. It's fucking ridiculous and it needs to stop.

She's feeling peer pressure - we've all been there in one way or another. Try reassuring her that it's no big deal. Sounds like she's over concerned of what people think of her - normal for a 13 year old!

Kissings really not a big deal...
I had my first kiss in college (freshmen year) and it was the worst experience ever.
