    Well, I've perfected the 'display; technique - including remembering to turn on the interior light - and on Friday night I got a response, the oncoming lorry driver flashed his headlights just before we passed each other. I shot my load pretty quickly after that.

    This is probably an America exclusive thing, cause in Europe nobody bats an eye towards truckers.

    People here are mostly annoyed whenever there is a truck in the way. I used to have a weekend job driving trucks and never encountered something like that. The most attention I've gotten from passing vehicles is from children making weird faces at me from buses that pass me at a slightly higher speed.

      I would have hoped that as I referred to 'Lorries' (OK, in the singular if you want to be pedantic) rather than 'trucks' that you would realize I am NOT in the USA

        I'll be honest, I completely glossed over "lorries". Since I've gotten used to both American and British english, I can skip details such as those.

        Before switching to buses, I used to drive trucks for almost 2 years.
        At some points it was a tough job. I had to offload the truck myself a few times. Unloading 35 tons with a manual pallet jack is not fun...

        I like my bus driver job a lot more, cause the "cargo" loads and unloads itself. And buses are faster XD

            Guess you read that post I made a while back about the crazy old guy that said he was gonna report me for not turning off the suspension on my air ride seat. Guy was furious the seat was going up and down constantly.

            I got a copy of the complaint. He listed I was rude, drove like a maniac, did not comply to passenger requests, threatened to kick him off the bus for no reason (I only said he should go in the back of the bus if he doesn't want to look at me and my bouncy seat) and that he hated my choice of music and it was unpatriotic (I was listening to country music that night)

            The complaint was dismissed by everyone, but I kept a copy, so I can laugh at it, what an idiot... XD
