Is it normal that i want to die even though i'm not depressed?

I am not at all depressed. At least thats what I think. But I have a balcony in my house and when ever I look at it, I have a sudden urge to climb up and jump. I get the same feeling when I'm crossing the road and I see a bus coming really fast. I feel the urge to jump in front of the bus. Its like my body is telling me to commit suicide.

    I've felt both, but I quickly remember how horrible they are and recede back to the comfort of my usual fantasies.
