Is it normal that i want to control others?

Ever since I was eight I have wanted to take over the world. At first, I wasn't sure why, then I realized it, I Want to control people. Just giving people orders and watching them obey me gives me great pleasure.

I Fantasize about building solid gold statues of myself,giant palaces,having people call me "Excellency", "Majesty", etc.

Whenever I think of people kneeling in front of me (especially enemies,friends, and girls that I like) I Get an immense, almost sexual thrill. It just feels so good to think of them acknowledging just how superior I am to them.

When I was about ten I decided I wanted to go into politics so I could con my way into being ruler of the entire planet.

Is this in any way normal?
