Ever since I've been a kid, I've liked girly things. I've never been comfortable around guys, but comfortable around girls. Am I gay? I want to be straight but I am afraid it will never happen? Any valid suggestions?
Like you, I've never been able to relate to a lot of guys. However, I'm fairly masculine but do SO MUCH enjoy girlie things. I'm a panty wearer, I love the fresh smell of a good cologne, I like teddy bears and flowers. And, because I'm a Bisexual male, I also enjoy treating another man as if I were a woman. I'm not gay, but wouldn't particularly care if I were, as the end result is the same. Enjoy what you enjoy, like who you like and don't worry about labels or trying to change yourself into something you're not.
A lot of straight men are into girlie things. I catch my boyfriend wearing my bra and masturbating every once in a while. No big deal. I actually let him make a mold of my breasts so he can have boobs. . . He is straight. No attraction to males.

Liking 'girly' stuff doesn't neccessarily make you gay, your sexual orientation does.
maybe you are attracted to women and therefore like to be around girls more. Why is liking to be around women gay? You could be naturally a more feminine man, but usually guys like that who spend a lot of time with women and are not gay get the girls big time so I wouldn't see it as a negative thing

Being gay means you like men. So do you like men? If you do not like men you are not gay. Which you have not mentioned. What you mean to say is "Masculant" as it seems you might be a little fem.

Hmmm... I don't think this has to do with your sexuality at all, friend. See, liking girly stuff doesn't mean that you are gay, It just means that you are an effiminate male. Gender identity and sexuality have little to do with each other (though, I admit, there does seem to be a trend)
What, REALLY determines weather you are homosexual (or bisexual or whatever convoluted number on the Kinsey Scale you are) or not is your level of attraction to the same sex, not your gender identity.

if you are attracted sexually to women then you are straight. end of story. and in this world asking if a gay man wanting to be straight is normal is like asking if a black man wishes he were white. this is a "straight" "white" "man"'s world. each of those 3 things are things that make it easier to get where you want to go in life. it's not racist or sexist it is the truth.
Being gay is being sexually attracted to guys and you could imagine yourself in a serious relation ship with a guy. If that is the case then you are gay. If you are sexually attracted to girls then you are straight. You might just not be confident about yourself, therefore not think anyone will want you. Ignore those feelings, there is someone out there for everyone :)

These kinds of questions are silly. Are you sexually attracted to people of the same gender as you? That's what gay means. If not, then you're not gay. Kinda simple to understand...
