Is it normal that i want to be a vegetarian but,

I hate every single fruit and vegetable, and recently I've began hating meat and wanting nothing to do with it. I've been trying to not eat meat at all but my family is crazy about meat and basically place it in every single meal, when I said I didn't want to eat meat they said that i'm going to be malnourished.

TL;DR Is it normal that I want to not eat meat but I hate fruit and veg?

Don't dismiss the fruit and veggies too soon; surely you haven't tried everything? Try cooking them in different ways, and keep an open mind!

Besides, there are other things you can eat. Meat substitutes, for one. And then the whole dairy selection, which is the best of all. Cheese is the solution to everything. Then you've got pasta and bread and all that lovely stuff. Seeds, pulses, etc etc.

I know, people think just cause we are vegetarian all we eat is salad, I don't even remember the last salad I had, I think it was when I ate out last

Same here! There are quite a lot of vegetables I'm not massively keen on. Although I am completely addicted to fruit. If fruit salads count, then I devour them in copious amounts!

Yeah that's normal. I used to be 'vegan' but in all reality, I was just using it as an excuse to starve myself. Nowadays I love carrots, mushrooms, cucumbers (especially cucumbers in a bowl of apple cider vinegar) sprouts, cabbage (also in vinegar) and tomatoes.
It's weird, because I really despise most of the foods I just listed, but as I got older, taste buds have changed. I also eat tons and tons of chips, which of course, isn't healthy at all.. But I love chips, and I'm not fat, so it's only my arteries and tads of dignity taking the hit on that one.

Wow I don't know how I turned a 'normal' or 'not normal' subject into a walk of text.
Thank you if anyone actually read all of this.

They only problem with being vegetarian is that you can get protein deficiency, so you need soya, or beans to make up the difference.
