Is it normal that i want to be a sex specialist?

I want to be a sex specialist (as my career). It is something I am passionate about and would love to help people that have problems with that stuff. I am too embarrased to tell anyone that it is something I would like to pursue because I fear they might think I'm weird or disapprove. Is it weird or is it normal? Any advice on how to come upon this career?

    You could look into psychology and therapy as a major and then go from there :)

    This sounds like a good idea, way more appealing than an office job.

    Excellent! If you can keep an open mind, you can't fail. I say go for it & fuck anyone who disapproves -they probably aren't getting any, maybe you'll be able to help 'em out, haha.
    P.S.: Anime would make a poor sex therapist, trust me.

  • Anything involving sex should have passion behind it. Go for it.

    Therapy requires alot of schooling. You'll need 4-5 years to learn psychology and another 4-7 years for a doctoral degree. You'll probably have to take out student loans because tuition will be way too costly to handle on your own and you'll have to work while going to school unless you have someone else paying all your bills while you're in school for seven years (good luck finding someone like that!).

    I am guessing you're relatively young due to your question. I think if you enjoy sex and like giving tidbits of advice then you should just apply for a job at Hustler Hollywood or Lovers. There is no easy way to just become a sex specialist doctor/ relationship therapist without a huge financial and time investment. If it's what you want to do though.. I'd start by choosing an accredited technical college and getting a transferable degree in psychology.

    Haha! I wanted to do this too a while back. It's the only career field I'm passionate about, but it seems kind of taboo so I don't think I'd ever pursue it :{.

    I hope you get to though! It's normal :}
