Is it normal that i want space in my relationship

So just recently, I got an opportunity to finally move back to my home town where my boyfriend lives and my schooling.

So, my boyfriend is saying things like we should do everything thing together, and I love him so much but I need my space. I feel like he's too "up my ass" per-say. I love spending time with him and I love him dearly. Is it normal that I want to do things independently? I'm just scared, I don't want go get too attached.

At first i thought this said "Is it normal I want a spaceship"

But as for this, less adventurous post, in fact completely opposite of adventurous post, i would say you don't need a boyfriend right now.

We were long distance, and now I'm moving back. So we appreciate one another very much and we are in love, I just don't know how to explain I'm a very independent person, and I need space sometimes.

If he truly loves you he should understand that you need your space sometimes. Absence makes the heart fonder...and plus having your own separate hobbies and wants is better for a relationship

And I'm a girl :) p.s. I'd probably think its more normal for guys to want space but for me we are normal.

I think it's normal. It's important in a relationship to have space. To always be together can cause tension and fights. I need space in my relationships. You both should have other hobbies besides being together as a couple. I'm the same way

I found that I felt like this with my ex. He would call me every hour to ask me if I wanted to go to the cinema or if I wanted to go to a restaurant... I found him too clingy, too invasive of my space. I'm a lot happier being single, now.
