Is it normal that i want my parents to get a divorce?

About a year ago, my dad left. After a while he came back.. Things were terrible. He hit my mom and they fought constantly....
A year later things are pretty much still the same.
I love both of my parents dearly but i don't think they should be together.

Is this normal?

    After my Dad left, he did sleep with someone else... Which made everything worse.

    yeah the same thing happened to me too and there were lot of problems between my parents and my dad almost or had an affair and i thought they should divorce but lately their relationship is much better but they fight a lot togrther

    I had a tough upbringing too and always wonder if it'd have been better if my parents split up. In retrospect, I don't know.

    I do know how it feels to be in your position, though. I hope everything works out for you.
