I'm a 19 year old male, and I'm looking for a relationship where my girl will not only be my lover, but also my best friend, where we can play video games one moment and laugh and play and she will probably beat me, lol, but then have sex the next. Is it normal to want to have relationship like this? Where I not only love the girl I'm with, but also enjoy hanging out with them?

    That's the only true relationship. Your lover should always be your best friend. If sexual attraction slows, as it often does through the years, then without that friendship you have nothing left.

    My husband and I started out as friends... He is my best friend and my husband. We laugh and have fun, and we can be serious too, but I am lucky to have what everyone, including you, wants. You can have it too! I believe this is possible for everyone. It might take time, and dating several different people before you find the ONE! Don't give up... He/She is out there!

    I'd hate to be in a relationship that WASN'T like that. If I can't make a connection beyond the physical, the relationship doesn't last long.

    Playing, teasing, and just curling up and listening to what each other has to say are some of the things I miss most when I'm out of a relationship.
