Actually, it's 19. The last one died, but she's still trying for more!
14 is still a lot. Look at Nadia Sullemon, she had 8, but they're still too much for her. She had to help from california to help out with them. If you're going to do that, you'll need to make sure that you're finically secure and are responsible enough.

This world is already overpopulated. We cannot continue on this path. There are already too many people for long-term sustainability.

So, 10 per cent of the people who responded to this question thinks it's normal to have 14 children.
Right now, the Global Population is over 7,000,000,000 (7 billion) persons.
The percentage of females to males is roughly
50 per cent. That makes roughly 3,500,000,000
(3 and one-half billion) females.
Of those, the perccentage of females under 15 years of age is about 26.3 per cent. That leaves about 920,500,000 (920 million and five-hundred thousand) females that have not entered their reproductive years.
If 10 per cent believe it's acceptable to have 14 children, that leaves 92,050,000 (92 million and fifty-thousand) females.
If each of these females has 14 children through their reproductive years, that makes 1,288,700,000
(one billion and 288 million and seven-hundred thousand) children.
That's just the women who have 14 children, not less.
Try to do the math if 10 per cent of these children have 14 children of their own!KEEP THIS IN MIND: IF EACH WOMAN, IN HER REPRODUCTIVE YEARS, ALIVE TODAY, HAS JUST ONE CHILD BY NATURAL CHILDBIRTH, GLOBAL POPULATION WOULD STILL INCREASE FOR QUITE SOME TIME!

You realize that if this world becomes overcrowded anymore, that the only place to go would be space? I doubt humans could adapt quick enough to live in the ocean. Space has countless worlds to habit, but whose to say that humans won't try to ruin those worlds too?

You are so very close. We will inhabit other worlds, in fact we will learn to build them.
The problem is, if we continue on the path we're on, we will overpopulate this world and we will destroy it. Then, what I said above, will not happen. We need to make a few changes. Either Temporal Reality is a possibility.

No, that's not normal. Do you know how hard it would be to take care of that brood? The money needed. The time spent. The patience and responsibility?!
Just get a dog. That takes allot of responsibility, but don't get too many or people will consider you a hoarder!
