Is it normal that i wake up twitching

Every time I have a weird dream or a nightmare, I wake up sweaty. A few minutes later of trying to calm myself, I start twitching. I have never asked a doctor about this because I have had very serious anxiety since I was a baby. I don't like doctors... Anyways, I tilt my head and I just tremble. I have only told my brother about this, he said he didn't know what it is. Sometimes I even just start twitching when I'm nervous. Does anyone know what this might be? Please, no immature comments, I want an answer.

I have this, went to the doctor about it, said it was nothing serious. Although my boyfriend has told me that it looks like a mini seizure.

Find a doctor you like. Most MDs have your best interest at heart. Quit being a weinny and get help. I evaluated a man yesterday who stopped going to the dr 9 years ago. Had he been followed by an Md his blood pressure and high cholesterol would have been treated, he would still be living a normal life.

Tourettes. It's real and embarassing. I'm treated for ADD and the meds sometimes caused that at first. The doctor gave me Tenex and it stopped the ticks and the anxiety

I would see a doctor especially if you start waking up with night sweats without bad dreams or hot temperature in the house. Look at it this way if you do have something to worry about wouldn't you want the doctor to fix it rather then wait too long and not be able to get it fixed? But that sounds like anxiety and not anything really to worry about but just to be safe I would get it checked out.

I understand having anxiety i do but even tho u dnt like doctors u should prollie see one i would assume from my unprofessional viewpoint that its something like how my anxiety works if i dont release my anger worries or whatever physically it gets built up and i have physical problems caused by my anxiety try stretching after a bad dream and work out more often it could help
