Is it normal that i've yet to have a girlfriend

So i'm 19 at the moment, 20 in a few weeks and now that i'm getting older I'm startin to think is it normal that I have yet to find a girlfriend?

I'm by no means ugly and I have a lot of friends so it's not like I'm a bad person.. I'm quite a happy guy and will gladly talk to anybody but it seems as if I just have no luck when it comes to meeting females.

I've had an idea of my perfect girl in my head for a while now, I dont think i'm asking for alot if im honest.. But should I give up hoping to meet my ideal girl and settle for something a little bit less before i get too old and miss out all together?

    Don't get hung up on ideals. Meet some girls. Get some experience. Your ideal is liable to change, and it's liable to change to someone you're currently dating. You don't know what you have until you have it.

    Just try to forget about your ideals and ask a girl you think seems nice out, even if she doesn't meet your image of the ideal girl.

    You might find that your ideals were wrong and that the girl your dating is perfect:)

    A lot of people your age have yet to be in relationships so you're normal. Honestly I don't think you should give up on your dream girl. If you're as great as you sound then she's out there. You just have to be patient. However, don't discriminate against dating girls who don't fit your standards. Who knows maybe you've known that girl this whole time (she could be one of your friends).

    If you achieve success, you won't have to worry about looking for the ladies. THE LADIES WILL BE LOOKING FOR YOU!!! Don't put the cart before the horse.

    im a 19 year old girl and am feeling the same way. I think that this is a completely normal feeling and you shouldn't settle for something that won't make you happy just to finally be in a relationship. You have standards which is rarely found now. I think that you should hold on to these standards, and hopefully the right person will come along. I completely understand how your feeling and feel like it's never going to happen for me. You just have to have faith that one day your going to meet the right person and all these feelings will be worth it. Good luck!

    Don't worry dude, I'm 23 and I haven't had a girlfriend for almost 7 years now. And my only relationship lasted under 3 months. Just live your life and enjoy yourself, let things come naturally and you'll see everything start to fall into place. Trust me it works.

    Dont worry about it, you just need to put yourself out there. Try joining POF.com. It's affective(the ass to plant ratio has gone UP!)and easy. In fact, if you state that you've never had a girlfriend in your profile, you're going to be drowning in it.

    I am twenty and don't have a girlfriend too. Don't worry!! You'll get soon. First focus on your life.

    Though it feels bad when you see someone with his girlfriend.
