So, I've never had a boyfriend and I'm 18. I've almost been in a relationship, but for some reason all the guys have just stopped talking to me. I don't think I have a bad personality (I'm sarcastic, nice, loving) nor do I think I'm overly gorgeous (I'm 5'9, blond, white, thin). I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
Be more aggressive; take no prisoners. Sometimes in life if you want something, you have to take it.
Well, I also went to a private high school and there was only 70 something students in my class. But now I'm at college and I want something to happen.
super normal. you probably just didn't like anyone in your highschool. but when your a teenager it feels like that place is the universe so you come to a lot of conclusion based on only knowing about the existence of about 300 other people which isnt a lot.
It's normal. I have seen all the teenage love dramma with people I know and you're one of the lucky ones if you weren't one of the ones that went hunting for relationships as a teen.
Try putting yourself out there with the next guy you like. Most people who havent been in a relationship at that age are shy or really ugly, ( im assuming your just shy) and that could be your downfall, especially if your with another shy guy. I've been there I know the feeling, two shy people will just make small talk for a while and move on because they don't think it's going anywhere. Try hinting to the guy that you like him. This will give him confidence and increase the likelihood of him asking you out
Seriously, don't feel bad. It might be sad in my case, since I'm 23 and never have had a boyfriend. :-/ But, it's certainly not sad in your situation. I'm a redhead, thin, 5'5", white, seemingly normal. But, I do still look like I'm 14. Like you, I've been in a few almost-relationships, but nothing meaningful or anything close to being able to qualify as me having a boyfriend. So, I'm the one with the problem here. My younger sister even has a boyfriend and I don't.
Normal..I haven't been in a serious relationship either.Maybe the you and the guys you talk to just dont click together.
You have plenty of time. And think that, may be you are lucky that, your heart was never broken. It is a good thing, i believe.
