Is it normal that i've loved my ex french teacher/coach for years?

So ever since 7th grade in middle school, (I'm 18 now, a senior) I've had a HUGE crush on my cheer coach/french teacher and we're both girls. She cares so much about her students and she's helped me a lot with personal issues that I've had and she's kind of taken me under her wing. The love for her just grew stronger and I was scared to tell her. We were very close and now I'm a senior in high school and am an adult now, but she has moved to a different state to fulfill her teaching career as a french teacher. And just the words and feelings that were left unspoken, it's killing me inside and the dreams won't go away. I don't know what I should do, should I tell her how I feel?

    Yeah go for it! In a nice way but tell her the truth...once you're out of school she might do something about it?
