Is it normal that i've learnt a lot from iin?

I learned that there is a bit more incest in the world than I thought. Among other things.

also, I have learned how the world really feels about the issues at hand, when such a topic arises, that is.

I have learned alot about the world through this site. Many people, including myslef, feel very comfortable opening up through an online site like this, as there true identity is hidden from everyone else. They could even create an "Alter Ego" or become someone else if they wanted, as this site allows them to say what they want without fear. I myself tend to say more here and be more open than I could ever say for real. And since many posters, especially the regulars, tend to be very accepting and open, it makes you feel very good about your innermost self.

i have learned a lot but not really anything positive. mainly just how fucked up people are nowadays.

That's a really good thing. I've learnt a massive amount about group dynamics by being here because this is one of the few places where people are always giving their opinion rather than being social and often hiding behind that opinion.

Learnt a bit about myself too. Some bad, some good.

I think if you watch people here, weigh their words, and just have a bit of a think about it, IIN is a great learning environment.
