Is it normal that i used my cable box as a toilet?

Well recently a few weeks ago I went out with a friend of mine and his fiance, and we went to a very upscale restaurant as he had gift certificates that a client of his gave to him as a way of saying thanks for his hard work. Well I had a couple rounds of martini's and then some wine but I wasnt really drunk, certainly not advisable to drive but I didnt drive so no problems there. Dinner was done by 9:30 and back home a little after that, an hour later I was asleep and when I woke up again at 4:30 am I noticed the cable box clock wasnt functioning, I had a feeling that perhaps I pissed all over it while half asleep, sure enough my suspicions were confirmed upon inspection and the cable box was broken, never to work again. I waited a week for it to dry out and then had the cable company replace it with a new one (I just lied and said it stopped working, they would be "pissed" if they knew the truth). It didnt cost me anything at all and it was hard not to laugh when the guy was there replacing it, but anyway, Is it normal to piss all over cable boxes from time to time?

      I dont know how I even reached it, its on a shelf under the TV, at least I didnt ruin the TV.

      I would really have been pissed at that.

    Normal. My husband did things simalur to this..... In the corner and on various objects in the bed room. Even after like three drinks. Its only like sleep walking

      Yes, exactly, I didnt even have much to drink and there have been plenty of places I have pissed all over instead of in the bathroom.

      In all honesty I really wasnt that drunk, like nowhere near as drunk as I have been other times and I still didnt piss anywhere like this.

      I dont think they can tell. The guy that was there on Sunday didnt say anything about a bill.

        depends if they actually look at it.

        i know where i work we had a customer try sending his computer off under a manufacturer's warranty because the mouse didn't work.

        Except.... when it got to the service center they opened it up and realized the computer had severe liquid damage and refused to repair it because it would entail replacing the entire computer.

        He came back in the day after he got it back, claiming that he'd complained to corporation and that they authorized him a "free repair" because nothing was fixed. it never happened. The manager realized the man was trying to pull one over on us and his computer remained unfixed... manufacturer's warranty doesn't cover getting the computer wet.

        now granted the cable box is a lot cheaper than a computer but... just keep an eye on the bill just in case.

          I havent heard anything yet, so I would imagine I dont have anything to worry about.

          I dont think its worth their time to worry about a non functioning cable box, they probably are cheaply made and break down frequently.

              Yes most certainly not piss proof. It even says that if you look on the side of the box.
