my family used to do drugs.and then the dare program came along.now,i really hate drugs like achohol,drugs,cigarettes,etc.i know this is good,but is it NORMAL??????????
yeah, its normal, its just highly illogical. Ultimately, its not the drugs' fault, its the people using them. Some people know how to handle their shit, and some people wind up like an episode of Intervention. Plus, lumping all of them together into one pile of "evil" without taking the time to learn more about at least each individual type is just ignorant.
I recommend you think about what made your family choose that path, and find an un-biased source of information before you let the government decide what's right for you.
If you haven't tried them then you have nothing to say. They are great in moderation.
I would definately have to agree with tommy81. Most of what the government pays for in anti-drug advocats is mislead information to get people to think that all illicit/illegal drugs are bad. It's basically shit, as moderation is usually the key. And if one cannot stick to moderation, one should not even be thinking about or pursuing the use of drugs in any shape or form.
I hate people who don't accept drugs.
Drug addicts are bad.
Drugs are not.
If you are not an addict or an alcoholic then there really is no problem you just don't take any drugs or drink.....pass that test before you tell me how you are the one special person that can handle their drug, if it is not an addiction and you can take it or leave it then lets see you leave it.
I do not see a down side to hating drugs. There are no good drugs from a recreational stand point. They are dangerous and they kill people. I will get a bunch of comments saying what about this what about that. For instance marijuana, I have watched it sap the motivation out of people, seen it be the first of many drugs used in the future. If you need to alter yourself to be happy there are other problems to deal with and drugs wont' help. I see no downside to hating them,hate them and stay away from them. The people who will tell you that certian drugs are ok while others aren't are using that drug and they truly believe that. Denial is not a river in Egypt. The sad things is that the most destructive one is legal and that is alcohol. PS I'm a drug addict and alcoholic. When drank I said alcohol was ok it was legal,when I took pain killers they were ok but alcohol wasn't or any of those OTHER drugs, then I thought crack was ok then heroine but crack and marijuana were not it's all bullshit it all alters your perceptions and thoughts, so any one who using cannot give you straight advice, they are altered. Stick with hating them.
Youre a close minded douchefuck. You might as well through out any and all music that you own because those people that made that great music that has enhanced your life over the years was really fucken high on drugs.
I dislike drugs simply because they're self-destructive. Sure, i've tried them, but i can definitely live and have fun without them.
My dad died when i was 15 from a heroin overdose, he suffered from addiction for a long time, but i had already developed my opinion before his death.
