Is it normal that i treat my female friends like my male friends?

Basically i believe in treating everyone as an equal. I talk to my female friends as if they were my guy friends. The problem is that the conversations with my male friends usually consists of sex, life, and troubles. I'm very close to my pals and thus i try to be close with my female friends. However, they usually get creeped out when i talk too casually about masturbation and sex. I haven't done anything sexual with a girl by the way. It's just that my pals and I talk about sex in a casual tone. I know that girls don't want to hear about this stuff and it's not like i talk about sex all the time. I just feel like i shouldn't treat someone differently because of their gender. Am i normal?

You're missing the point of equality. It's that we get equal rights, not that we're exactly the same.

all ladies are different. some talk casually about sex and masturbation. some like the word "pussy" but hate the word "vagina". some girls might think you are hinting that you want to have sex with them. some might be jealous because they want to have sex with you. or they might just think that you don't know what you speak of. who knows, humans are a mystery regardless of gender.

Well you can't compare apples to oranges, but everyone's different. It's not the gender as a whole that's different, it's more depending on the person itself
