Is it normal that i thunderously flatulate?

Alright last night I had quite a large dinner, I made tacos and had some other mexican food along with spanish rice.

Now later on as I was watching TV I let loose a thunderous fusillade of flatulence. I was wearing a fairly new pair of underpants and later on when I examined them there was a large hole in them that wasnt there yesterday morning when I first put them on. There were no stains, just a large, silver dollar shaped hole.

Is it normal to think that I actually blew a hole in them?

      Not impossible at all. I can assure there was a large hole that wasnt there when the underwear was put on.

      It was powerful flatulence.

    It wasnt really meant to be funny, but I guess now that I look back on it its pretty funny.

    It was an almost brand new pair of (fairly) expensive underpants that I had to throw out, so it wasnt anything I tried to do. And I can guarantee that the hole wasnt there 3 days ago (I wear the same pair for 3-5 days straight) when I first put them on.

    The whole might have been caused by something else, rather than...... But if you have confirmed with proof that it was caused by that, then maybe it was caused by your meal and you had some real "heavy flatulence".
