i did NOT like transformers 2.optimus prime was the only badass one. it didn't have the same awesome war feeling. but dark of the moon was its opposite.
Not a fan of big budget Hollywood action movies in general. I find them incredibly stupid and predictable, pandering to our most primitive desires for sex and adrenaline. I like movies that surprise me with some sort of wit or originality. I didn't even like The Avengers, and I seem to be the only person on Earth who didn't. Meh, to each their own.
It's true that Hollywood films are not good in terms of originality or anything artistically brilliant. However they're easy and fun to watch, especially with friends.
Oh I totally agree, and I'm not saying that every movie that appeals to our basic desires is automatically bad, but there is a way to do so without just giving up on everything else. It is possible for a movie to be fun AND surprising, exciting AND smart, easy to watch AND unique. There are Hollywood films that manage to do this.
My issue is with movies that make no attempt to do that - movies that are very clearly just executives taking a worn out plot, adding explosions and tits, and marketing the shit out of it.
Neither have I, which I find very odd. I feel like I've seen this same movie thousands of times before. The action was fun, but otherwise it was totally mediocre and not very original - which is a shame because when I heard Joss Whedon would be directing, I figured it could be a pretty unique take on superhero movies. But alas, it was more of the same.
I don't have a problem with the fact that people like it, so long as they don't mind that I don't like it. But I honestly think that if people stepped out of the hype-bubble, some of them would realize they actually thought it was a pretty run-of-the-mill movie.
they're all fucking terrible. Since I gave up booze i can't watch this shit sober anymore.
It's a Michael Bay movie. It's perfectly normal to dislike those, it only indicates that you've got good taste.
It was alright. There seemed to be more action in the 2nd one than in the first one, but I gotta say I liked them both equally.
What a stupid thing to submit. I remember when people put stories that were legitimately debatable whether they were normal or not instead of this shallow retardation.
Anyone who says your not normal for watching a movie can fuck off. You can say what was bad as a movie for yourself. You control yourself not anyone else.

It was not as good as the first one for sure, I still enjoyed it though! Mostly because I become a ten year old kid as soon as a transformers movie starts!
Most of the people I have spoken to about it didn't like it. I didn't see the big deal, but then again I am not a big movie watcher so I don't have much to compare it to.
Not normal that you watched it, normal for those that did to not like it.
There is a Datsun P510 in it so I might download it just to see it.
