okay. so i am a straight guy and i think that its stupid that if girls hug, its normal but if guys hug they are gay. same with other things. am i the only one who thinks this?
U wanna hug a guy? Go hug one.. I don't think it's sexism.. It's actually masculinity vs femininity ... That how we are... Men all over the world hug! Except in the western countries. Something about showing sincerity seems to threaten their manhood.
I never think men hugging is gay.. As long as it's under 3 seconds and all hands are above the waist.
Really, the only reason why we have gender is so that we can reproduce. Otherwise, we'd be like ameobas. In other words, sex doesn't really have much of a purpose other than reproduction, so we're all just people.

From an objective standpoint that is true, but it would be odd if men and women acted exactly the same. Maybe its just the culture were conditioned into not wanting that, but still weird.
Males and females have very real mental differences, and are also exposed to different cultural influences.
Depends on the jug. If it's a bro hug shoulder grab thing, it's more acceptable ;)
i think it depends on the generation. i was brought up with manly men and ladies. i love my men to be hairy and the bread winners and to know that they can look after me. the roles seem to be changing and the women are looking after their men and more men are staying at home to look after the kids and be the house looker-after-er.... i think that if you are happy within your own skin, who really cares what other people think.
