Is it normal that i think taylor swift sucks?

Everyone likes different things. I like Frank Sinatra, even though he's way before my generation. He just has an amazing voice.

I know what you mean. She writes juvenile lyrics about nothing and sells it off as art. And when her songs do have a profound meaning, its poorly executed in her writing and has been done a thousand times before by other artists.

Despite this, she is insanely famous. Has everyone forgotten about *real* art like Pink Floyd's "Dark side of the Moon" or Radiohead's "OK Computer".

The first forms of recognizable art, such as cave drawings, appeared at the dawn of humanity. Art on earth is a human charactoristic and when you insult it with the work of these so called "artists", you are therefore insulting mankind. I think humanity's era of articulate expression are over because of people like Taylor Swift and Justin Beiber.

I think SOME PEOPLE *glares at guy who wrote first comment* should realize that they are not the judge of real art. She sings just fine, and she is far beyond lady gaga and WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY better than Justin bieber. It's just a wild guess, but I think the person who wrote the highly insulting comment is a girl. You may not like her music, but that doesn't mean she sucks. I just hate it when people think that they have the final say in what is art and what isn't.

It's all opinion. It's normal to like her and normal to dislike her. Personally I think her music is cute but it's nothing great. As for the comment about her repeating things that have already been sung about: songs seem to be very repetitive haha

I don't hate her but her singing is more like talking. Anyone can sing her songs. She just doesn't have a strong voice. I do however like her lyrics for kids. I know I don't have to change the channel when my kids are in the car.
